You can create an account by visiting the Australian Government myGov site.

Go to my.gov.au and select Create account.
Choose Continue with email or select an alternative Digital ID option.
Read and agree to the Terms of use and privacy notice.
Enter your email address and type in the confirmation code sent to your inbox.
Enter your mobile number and type in the verification code sent via SMS (or skip this step if you do not have one).
Choose your notification preference for inbox messages.
Create a password (at least 10 characters long, including letters and numbers).
Set up three secret questions and answers to help recover your account later.

Download the official myGov app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store after you have set up your account on a web browser.
